Choose the appropriate fabric based on the hang tag

Watching the hang tag has become one of the steps in our clothing selection. Different merchants often sell the same style, but the quality varies. The same style, using different fabrics, may have significantly different costs and wearing effects. So how do you choose the appropriate fabric based on the hang tag?
1. The difference between thermal underwear and thermal underwear
Firstly, it is important to understand that hygroscopic and thermal underwear is not thermal underwear. The mechanisms of hygroscopic and thermal insulation are different and cannot be replaced by each other.
The advantage of thermal underwear is that it can generate heat on its own and the fabric is light and thin; The disadvantage is that if the insulation is not good, the heat generated may quickly dissipate. The advantage of thermal underwear is that it prevents the loss of heat from the human body and provides long-lasting warmth; The disadvantage is poor breathability. Regardless of the fabric and material used in thermal underwear, it should meet the requirements of the national textile industry standards, that is, the insulation rate should not be less than 30%.
2. The difference between "pure wool" and "100% wool"
According to the regulations of the national textile industry, woolen sweaters with a wool fiber content of 100%, whether worsted or woolen, are called "pure woolen sweaters". However, in order to improve spinning performance and durability, worsted products are allowed to contain no more than 5% non wool fibers (such as nylon, polyester, etc.). Woolen finished products are allowed to contain no more than 7% non wool fibers.
If a pure wool sweater is added with non wool fibers that are allowed to be added in the standard, whether it is worsted or woolen products, it can only be labeled as "pure wool" and cannot be labeled as "100% wool". Only finished products with a wool content of 100% can be labeled as "100% wool" on the sewn in trademark or tag.
3. The difference between "polyester cotton" and "cotton polyester"
Friends who often buy shirts know that many shirt fabrics are labeled with polyester or cotton polyester. The order of the words "polyester cotton" and "cotton polyester" becomes two different fabrics. Polyester cotton "fabric refers to polyester with a composition of over 60% and cotton with a composition of less than 40%; Cotton polyester "is the opposite, referring to cotton with a composition of over 60% and polyester with a composition of less than 40%. So, which of the two fabrics is better? This depends on everyone's preferences and actual needs. That is to say, if you want the fabric of a shirt to have more characteristics of polyester, choose "polyester cotton". If you want more characteristics of cotton, choose "cotton polyester".
