What is heat transfer printing process

Every summer, the various print patterns on T-shirts become more and more diverse. Do you know what crafts these prints are? Today, the editor of Quanyu Clothing Accessories will share with you a popular printing process, which is heat transfer printing!
What is heat transfer printing? Heat transfer printing is a new method of printing patterns on various materials of goods, especially suitable for producing a small number of personalized and customized products, as well as printing patterns containing full-color images or photos. The principle is to print digital patterns on transfer paper using a special transfer ink through a printer, and then use a special transfer machine to accurately transfer the patterns to the surface of the product under high temperature and pressure, completing the printing of the product.
A Digital printing machine that can perform one-time multi-color, arbitrary complex and mixed color, and transitional color printing on any relatively flat material such as leather, textile fabric, organic glass, metal, plastic, crystal, wood products, and copper coated paper. It does not need plate making, color matching, and complex drying procedures, and will not damage the material. Since the product was launched, it has been highly praised by people in various industries, The number of factory customers conducting secondary purchases is increasing.
Heat transfer printing technology can also use various transfer materials to achieve different printing effects, mainly including film transfer and sublimation transfer.
Film transfer printing
The transfer paper used for film transfer printing contains gelatin, which is then printed on the surface of the product using high-temperature and high-pressure methods. Imported transfer paper and ink produce very thin gum patterns that are breathable, non stick, non cracked, washable, and non peeling; Unlike many domestically produced transfer papers in the market, the printed gum patterns are thicker and often have the drawbacks of stickiness and cracking. 100% pure cotton clothes are printed using adhesive film transfer printing technology.
sublimation printing
Sublimation transfer printing is a new generation of technology that uses special sublimation ink and sublimation transfer paper. The pattern printed on the product will not produce any glue. If transferred to the clothing, the ink will directly sublimate into the fabric of the clothing, and the fastness is the same as fabric dyeing. The color is sharp, making it more suitable for colorful patterns. For example, fast sweatshirts and physical comfort shirts use thermal sublimation transfer printing technology.
